IntraOp’s Mobetron is the world’s first mobile, self-shielded, electron linear accelerator,
which delivers IntraOperative RadioTherapy (IORT) to patients as they are undergoing cancer
surgery, safely and quickly in non-shielded operating rooms (OR).
IORT is used to treat a variety of solid
tumor cancers. More than 15,000 patients have received IORT as
part of their cancer treatment. Whether a particular cancer will
benefit from IORT treatment will depend on several factors,
including, but not limited to, the stage of the tumor, the tumor
resectability, the extent of the disease, and any previous
treatment which may have been received. For any particular
